Well it had to happen sooner or later ... after seeing Danno, John, Saul and all the other incredible artists do conversions, I thought I would give it a shot.
SO ... here is my first attempt:
First, take 1 Generic Girl MB (available from CB's House of Resin)
Add in 2 Talisman arms (which I just had laying around)
Carefully drimel off the cuffs off the arms
Chop off the head of the Generic Girl (sorry CB), and reattach it at a more pleasing angle and add pins for the arms
Attach arms to the bust
I'm going to have to drimel the neck some more, but most of it will be covered with hair when the piece is closer to being done.

I just realized that I can't add the some of the costume elements if the right arm was in place, so off it comes and start to fill in the gaps with Aves 2 part Epoxy Sculpt.
Also smoothed out the neck muscles with a drimel.
Gotta fix that hand too.

Adding this it should be a sure fire give away as to who it is.
I need to go to Lowe's to get wire to set the hair now.

Add wire for the hair ... I know it looks silly.

Another update, I'm really having fun with this, it's just like drawing, but in 3D instead of 2D. I want the piece to look like it has motion to it, so I thought of the the character as if she had just turned around quickly into a fighting stance, so her hair is whipping around.
I probably should have drawn the idea out on paper, but since this is my first time doing this, I just wanted to see if I could just transfer what was in my head into the clay.
I'm going to try to do the detailing and work on the costume aspects today, between loads of laundry.
